About The Gunslinger

In '04, Chadwick adapted a poem written by Bazzel Baz for The Gunslinger; filmed in '05 at the Valuzet Ranch.

The story of The Gunslinger [originally] was that of a modern day cowboy who is stung by a scorpion near El Paso Texas and finds himself in another world--another century. And at the end, he would awake from his hallucination only to find it had all been a dream.

But in his journey, he meets the woman of his dreams, has a gunfight for her honor with the Bossman, then weds at the local Mission. An earlier version of The Gunslinger was set in a Wild West setting, and was to be filmed at Disney's Motion Picture Ranch, but was later changed for a southwestern (El Paso) feel.
